Episode summary

In this episode of The People-Driven CEO Podcast, Shane sits down with Abhiudai “Abhi” Mishra, Co-Founder and Director of Sales and Marketing at Mosa Technologies, to talk about entrepreneurship, sustainability and building a circular-economy business from the ground up. Abhi shares how Mosa began while he and his co-founders were still university students after noticing how many glass bottles were ending up in landfill. What started with a bottle cutter, a few handmade products and pop-up booths on campus quickly turned into a real business after their first products sold out within hours.

The conversation explores how Mosa evolved from selling directly to consumers into creating sustainable promotional products and corporate gifts for businesses across North America. Abhi shares how listening to customers helped uncover that opportunity, eventually leading Mosa to develop officially licensed products for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Vancouver Host City. Abhi and Shane also discuss the realities of building a team, earning trust in a competitive industry and making sustainability feel more achievable for businesses.

For Abhi, sustainability does not have to happen all at once. It can begin with one practical step and grow from there. Looking ahead, Mosa’s goal is to become a leading supplier of sustainable promotional products across North America while continuing to make circularity easier for companies to participate in.
